...la bellezza è qualcosa che si vede, si sente, ma non sappiamo spiegare...
Ho cominciato agli inizi degli anni '90 a mettere insieme dei legni trovati sulle spiagge, con l'interesse di capire il perché della loro bellezza, il mistero della semplicità, quello dell'essenzialità delle forme, il modo in cui la natura riesca a trasformare se stessa eliminando il superfluo, donandosi poi sulla riva del mare a sguardi che cercano. Dopo il momento iniziale, che è stato quello della contemplazione, è nata in me l'esigenza di un colloquio approfondito ed interiore fra quello che era fuori e vedevo e quello che sentivo dentro di me e voleva esprimersi. Sono nate allora le prime specchiere ed altre opere in cui questo dialogo è espresso e tangibile, un dono per me e per gli altri dai luoghi lontani e pur vicini dell'anima.

... Beauty is something that we see, feel, but we can't explain ...
I started in the early '90s to put all the wood found on beaches, with the interest to understand the reason of its beauty, the mystery of simplicity, the essentiality of the shapes, the way in which nature is able to transform itself, eliminating the superfluous, then donating the seashore to gaze looking. After the initial moment, which was that of contemplation, was born in me the need for a thorough interview and interior between what was out and I saw and what I felt inside and wanted to express themselves. This brought about the birth of the first mirrors and other works in which the dialogue is expressed and tangible, a gift for myself and for others.
